May 14, 2018. Assistance to the Elderly, Inc. celebrates Mother’s Day bringing a vibrant and energetic party to the residents of their supportive housing community, Residential Plaza at Blue Lagoon.
Assistance to the Elderly Inc. is continually pursuing opportunities to bring care to the most vulnerable in our community, the elderly population. With the support of some of our community leaders, Rebeca Sosa (Commissioner, District 6), Bryan Avila (State Representative, District 111) and the FedEx Cares team the Mother’s Day Celebration was a great success.
“It is important to bring happiness to our residents who frequently suffer from depression and social isolation. Special dates like Mother’s Day gives us the perfect opportunity to change their routine and share with them a special afternoon, said Natalia Ledesma from Residential Plaza at Blue Lagoon. “Together, we are going hand in hand towards a meaningful and dignified life for the most vulnerable in our community,” said Luisana Hung Salazar, Development Director for Assistance to the Elderly, Inc.
Assistance to the Elderly, Inc. is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization that owns Residential Plaza at Blue Lagoon, a licensed assisted living and memory care community.
