Vicky Berg has over 30 years of professional experience in the area of Human Resources, with an emphasis on recruitment and selection at various public agencies. Although raised in Coral Gables, she lived 34 years in southern California. Her work experience includes City of Huntington Beach, CA., City of Garden Grove, CA., and L.A. Unified School District. However, she started her professional work experience here with the City of Miami straight out of college. Her education and training include a master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of West Florida, a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University, and an associate degree from Miami Dade Community College.
After many years in southern California and then becoming a widow, she felt it was time to spend her retirement years in Miami and be close to family. Officially moving back to Coral Gables in December 2019, before the pandemic shutdown, she is now ready to become involved in our community. Serving on the ATTE Board of Directors is just the beginning. It gives her great pride to be associated with an organization that is doing an excellent service for a much-underserved population of our society. She looks forward to making valuable and significant contributions to the organization’s goals and overall mission.
Born in Colombia, South America, she immigrated to the United States in 1957 with her family. She is a high school alumna of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy. Feeling like a tourist, she is enjoying her relocation to this area while rediscovering all the good things Miami has to offer.
