Mr. Paul Ramos was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and continues to live and work in the community. He is happily married to his wife of 20 years, Alina Ramos, and together they are raising three young boys.
Professionally Mr. Ramos has been a practicing physical therapist since 1994 and got his start at The Baptist Hospital of Miami Inpatient Rehabilitation Department. During his time at Baptist, he was a member of the intensive outpatient brain injury team. After leaving the hospital in 1997, he has worked in private practice in the outpatient and home health settings as he continues to work extensively with neuro patients. Mr. Ramos has been certified in several methods of functional capacity evaluations. He is a RESNA certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and a Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC). Mr. Ramos became a Certified Life Care Planner in 2013 and since then works at Comprehensive Rehabilitation Consultants, preparing Life Care Plans for individuals with catastrophic injuries. Comprehensive Rehabilitation Consultants (CRC) has offices in Miami, Buffalo, and Manhattan and has over 30 years’ experience in the field.
Mr. Ramos has been affiliated with Residential Plaza nearly since its inception in 1990. His grandmother, Berta Fernandez, was one of the original residents, and he would frequently visit her. In the late 1990s, he opened a therapy office on-site to service those residents in need of rehabilitation. Once Assistance to the Elderly (ATTE) was funded in 1999, he was asked to serve on the board of directors and has continuously served in some capacity for the last 20 years. He has served in several roles, including Chairmen, President, Finance Committee Chair, among other functions. He continues to be passionate about Residential Plaza, Assistance to the Elderly, and its mission.
